Our very small kitchen had been renovated more than 25 years ago, with custom-made white cabinets, black-and-white tiled countertops and a peninsula. I wanted to get rid of the peninsula, add more cabinets, and create a pass-through to the dining room with countertop and seating – all on a tight budget. 
Nancy’s ingenious design provided all that, and lots of style as well. She gave me lots more cabinet and counter space, and so much room to move around. The kitchen looks and feels twice as big, and it is so beautiful! It was an absolute pleasure working with Rob. He reworked and reused cabinets and drawers, managed to under-mount the original over-mount sink, and created wonderful woodwork around the pass-through that looks like it has always been in our 100-year old cottage. I now have a modern, beautiful kitchen that was created on a budget and looks like a million dollars – thanks to Nancy, Rob and the crew at Kitchens Made Simple

KMS removed existing cabinets from the kitchen and installed new cabinets. KMS also installed granite countertops and sanded and refinished the existing hardwood floors. I was most impressed by the professional and sincere attitude of all the folks at KMS (Pam, Charles especially). Everyone gave me the feeling I was receiving personal, individualized service and they wanted the kitchen to be exactly what I envisioned. They were very accommodating to the various changes requested even after supplies had been purchased and went out of their way to help select products and finishes. I now have a terrific, new kitchen which was designed and constructed by an exceedingly trustworthy company. Thanks to all at KMS.

I had a great experience working with Kitchens Made Simple. From the very beginning in t
he design process to the finishing touches, the people that I worked with were great. Pam, the designer, was able to get me an island which is something I never thought my small kitchen could have. It is on wheels so if I need to move it out of the way, it can be easily done. Their flexibility allowed me to do some of the demo and painting myself. The beautiful cabinets that we chose have given me much more storage capacity than before. Each appliance has a home is able to be stored away out of sight Doug and Rob and the rest of the crew did fantastic work on the installation as well as the subcontractors. They were all very professional and were able to work with me when I made a change to the original plan. The project was finished in the time-line they provided. I would definitely work with Kitchens Made Simple again, and would highly recommend them. They provide quality work as a reasonable price.

We had KMS completely remodel our small south Minneapolis kitchen. Complete demo, installation of cabinets, flooring, counter-tops, existing & new appliances, lighting, all necessary plumbing and electrical changes, etc…
The group at KMS were GREAT to work with right from the start! They came out and did an assessment of the existing kitchen, took measurements and gave us a ball park cost. The design person that we worked with was wonderful to work with and was very helpful in explaining the process, decisions that needed to be made, etc… Once we made all the necessary decisions on cabinets, flooring, counter-tops, etc…they got started right away. They worked quickly, but professionally, understanding that people do not want to wash their dishes in their bathroom for months! They also helped us work within our budget as best they could. From demo to finish, the project took 5-6 weeks. Ultimately, they did an excellent job and were very flexible working with us on change-orders. We are very pleased with our new kitchen and would highly recommend Kitchens Made Simple to anyone considering a kitchen remodel.

We wanted to open up and rearrange our kitchen to create a more family-friendly environment. Nancy designed a space for us that perfectly meets the needs of our family.
We love it! Now I can work in the kitchen while talking to my kids or watching them play in the living room. Doug did an incredible job managing all the details and different people that were needed to get it done. And we really appreciated how well they worked around our inquisitive little “helpers”!

We LOVE our new kitchen.
We have lived in our home for 41 years and have only done minor updates through the years.
We saw a Kitchen Made Simple ad in the St Paul paper and decided now was the time to do something major. We had no idea what we wanted exactly but we needed a whole new updated kitchen. We talked to Nancy and she was fantastic. She suggested things we would have never thought of doing. Her ideas made our kitchen more functional and made better use of our space.
When the bid was a little higher than what we wanted to spend she worked with us to get the cost in our price range, without sacrificing quality.
Doug and his crew were great! When they left they cleaned up the mess each day and if something wasn’t right they corrected the problem right away.

Our kitchen was “made simple” and very beautiful with our remodel this spring. We replaced cabinets with Starmark, flooring and counter tops. The designer Nancy worked with us to create a better layout. We found her very knowledgeable and took care of many details putting things together.
The rest of the crew did a great job doing the work. The few problems that occurred were addressed right away and taken care of. The workmanship was great. The tile floor we had done was laid out perfectly. The guys showed up when they said they would, and finished things well.
We feel we got a good remodel that was reasonably priced and done well. I would recommend KMS to others without hesitation.

Everyone who walks into our new kitchen says “Wow this is 
terrific!” We asked Kitchens Made Simple to update our 1976 kitchen without changing the footprint of the house and they did, indeed, turn it into a wow kitchen that is more efficient and easy to prepare meals in. They trippled the lighting, added a deeper sink, took out the old popcorn ceiling finish, changed it to a cleaner knock-down finish, took down and rebuilt a wall, changed the cabinets, added wood flooring and installed new counter tops. All the people working on the project were experts who did high-quality work. They completed the project in two months. (They estimated 6 weeks and likely would have met that schedule had we not had to reorder our flooring due to a manufacturer’s problem with the original order.) We love our new kitchen!

Once again we find ourselves sitting at our new kitchen island doing two things, admiring the view and wondering how we ever managed with the old kitchen. The kitchen has been done for a few months now but we still are in awe of the project and how it has exceeded all of our expectations.
What a wonderful team to work with at Kitchens Made Simple. We knew when we met with Nancy and the Team it was going to be a great project. No hidden surprises with construction or costs. They even cleaned up after themselves!
